Finally!! In forage of Opposition,a democracy retained.

"Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”.

An effective opposition is necessary in democracy to provide checks and balances in the government. An opposition can pressure rulling  government to review their decisions and prevent any law being passed with autocracy, hence making it ineffective.

Without an effective opposition the government of the day, becomes dictatorial and unaccountable and could pass laws which favor a selected few or a particular tribe or group. As said “Power Corrupts”, unfortunately it does, the so called kings in the past that were said to be “benevolent”, were actually not exposed to real power.  Although the leader may think he is acting in the interest of the people but if they do not have a say in it, they will feel subjugated.

With a decade of no strong opposition, roots of democracy and voice of citizens blown away with a echoes of religious stumble and glamour of sycophants.

It is very commendable from voters of India to brought a change and give us strong opposition who may make the nation ready to not allow those dictators to make decisions unanimous.

Hopefully, it seems great route ahead with strong opposition who could be able to mould the rulling decisions in favour of Indians at all levels.
